Ms. Silverman delivers keynote addresses on Life-Story Theatre for conferences on
aging. She presented at the American Society On Aging, American Parkinson's
Disease Association, National Conference of Nutrition and Aging Service Providers,
Wisconsin Bureau on Aging, Northeastern University Gerontology Department and
the Center for Applied Gerontology.
Ms. Silverman will train your activity directors,
social workers or group leaders to access and shape the
reminiscences of their groups with this exciting method. She also leads
groups herself, artfully engaging those of disparate skill and
function level and motivating and validating all for a
surprisingly easy performance with music accompaniment.
WHITE CRANE PLAYERS
Delight in this veteran troupe performing
their memories and anecdotes in an up-close, audience-involved
setting. The White Crane Players have performed for local theatres,
health care professionals, residential and nursing facilities
throughout the region. The troupe has been supported by the City of
Chicago and the Rothschild and MacArthur Foundations.
